Can increasing progesterone help a baby "catch up" if measuring behind?

Hello,

The doctor increased my progesterone since it was a 12.
Baby was measuring 5 days behind…will this help the baby grow?

I’ve never heard of more progesterone increasing fetal growth rate.

I have never heard that either. How far along are you? I would say though that when your really early, just looking at it a different way can make a 3-4 day difference as its being measured at a mm a day…wish you the best! Keep us posted…

Well the ultrasound was 6 weeks 4 days and the baby was measuring 5 week 6 days…heartbeat of 114.

I wouldn’t worry about that. Most heartbeats start at 6 weeks, so to have a measurable one is good news. Maybe you just have a runt

The RE increased your progesterone because they like to see it a little higher n your blood.
But like someone else said, its hard to get an exact measurement when they are that small.
