CCRM Girls!!!

I’m sorry you lost one of the twins. This must be so hard to come to terms with. I’ll keep Baby A in my thoughts…stay healthy little one! It is important to eat something but I know it’s hard when you are nauseous all the time. Preggie Pops are great as is crystallized ginger but those don’t exactly have the nutrients the baby needs. I found the only thing I could eat were those bunny graham crackers. Please keep us updated on how Baby A is doing.

Good luck! Your numbers look great. I’ve heard they can work wonders with patients who have had reversals. The only advice I can offer is to be your own advocate. Research and learn as much as you can and stay on top of everything. The Dr and nurses aren’t perfect and may miss something.

Sorry about your lining. I hope it thickens up so you can complete this transfer. I"m sorry I’ve never made it to transfer so I don’t have suggestions on how to increase your lining. I’ll be crossing my fingers and toes everything goes well next week!

Hey GingerB,
It’s been awhile… I’vebeen wondering about you and here you are ! I hope your lining co-operated this time. I’ll be standing by awaiting a progress report and full update on that BFP  I hope you have a very relaxing time there and it all goes smoothly. FX

Thank you for the advice HRttc2! I have been reading up on everything and trying to stay up on what I’m suppose to do this month before ER. LanaA yes my first IVF! I’m really excited to get going seems like it takes forever to get the ball rolling.

#26682

I’m retrieving tomorrow. You can find me upstairs at 8AM for an ER at 9AM. Drop by and say hello!

#26683

Luckybabydust - good luck with the retrieval! Sending lots of good thoughts your way.

GingerB - good luck with your cycle!

#26684

GingerB: Have you cycled with ORM before? I just did one cycle with them and my embryo rate was really poor despite my good baseline #s, similar to yours. I’m 40 years old, Day 3: AMH 5.3, FSH 6.5, LH 4, AFC17. I got 17ER, 12 matured, 11 fertilized, but only 1 Day 6 5BA and 4CC. I’m wondering what to do next.

#26685

I’m so sorry! I can’t imagine how hard that would be but try to focus on the blessing of one healthy growing baby!

#26686

AFM: I had my second FET at CCRM yesterday morning w Dr Schoolie. We transferred two 4AAs which had both started to hatch. We opted against CCS testing (I need to update my siggie but it keeps giving me error messages because its too long). Anyway, bed rest is boring as usual, but at least I’m not missing out on beautiful weather. All this flooding and rain out here is sad! I’m hoping for the best but trying to stay realistic due to my horrible track record of multiple failures and a chemical my last cycle!

Lucille,
When I started my stim cycle I began drinking acai smoothies everyday. I had found something online about Schoolcraft doing a study on the benefit of acai. (I figured it is good for you for about 100 reasons anyway, it is worth a try!) Anyway, every step of my IVF was more successful than we ever hoped for… so maybe there is something to the acai!!

#26688

I started at NU, so I have continued my monitoring there.

#26689

Good luck! CCRM is the best. I have never seen anyone with an AMH that high before! I didn’t even know it went up that high. That should be VERY good for you!!!

#26690

So sorry about your twin. :frowning: that is sad and hard to deal with. I’m sure twin A will be healthy and strong, it sure sounds like it.
You doctor sounds very good, and thorough! I haven’t had a urine test since I started IVF, are they checking you regularly? Early detection is best, so it sounds like you are in good hands.

#26691

Hey!!! I was one of the other 3 gals to have my transfer on the 13th! We can wait together!

#26692

Good luck ladies!! Are you going to POAS or wait it out?

#26693

Good luck with the recent transfers! Let us know!

Well my lining is not cooperating. Still at 6 mm. Transfer delayed. This sucks. They are putting me on viagra as a last effort…so many meds now. I started this cycle almost two months ago. I have no idea if this will work but am trying to prepare for cancellation. Any other protocols out there for transfers and thin linings…

#26694

I have some medications left over from my cycle that I don’t want to just throw away. If you are paying out of pocket and are interested please Message me. I would mail them out to you and just ask to be reimbursed for the cost of the shipping. Here is what I have (it has all been stored in a cool dry place): 1 vial of progesterone in ethyl oleate (compounded by braun pharmacare) expires 12/25/13; 25 endometrin inserts expires 8/14; 7 boxes of vivelle patches (8per box) expires 11/14;

Sorry I missed you Luckybabydust! Hope it went well and fingers crossed for you!
