I have just joined this forum because I need an outlet! My husband and I have been ttc for 3 years with no success. We are both overweight and I feel as though our fertility problems keep adding up.
My husband has retrograde ejaculation from diabetic neuropathy. However we recently found that sudafed about 2 hours before sex does the trick. Who knew?
I have always had very irregular periods. My doctor suspected PCOS and put me on metformin but when I went for an ultrasound they found that I am missing an ovary!
After that shock I started provera to get AF and started clomid 50 mg day 5-9 last month.
Used a billion opks but all negative…still tried.
AF arrived on time with no provera (does that mean I did ovulate?)
Now I just finished round 2 of clomid and have been using opks still all negative!! Still trying…
Anyone else have negative opks always? and still possibly ovulating?
We go to the fertility specialist for the first time next week…not sure what to expect. What usually happens on the first appointment?
