I’m new to this forum. We’ve been on the IVF journey for 2 years now. I am 28 and my husband is 33. My husband was born with undescended testes which was rectified when he was a child, however, he has kalmann’s syndrome too. He has hypogonadism. He produces very little sperm in his ejaculate.
We’ve had 5 ICSI cycles and 4 FETs from these cycles with no success. We’ve created embryos of day 2, 3 and day 5 and none has taken ever. I’ve also had a hysteroscopy which has come back normal.
We’ve done a karyotype test and it came back normal for both of us.
This time my RE suggests we use testicular extracted sperm, as the "quality’ may be better (less DNA frag). Has anyone had experience in using testicular sperm extracted due to very little/no sperm in ejaculate?
Also, I am wondering if there is anyone here who’s husband also suffers from kallmann’s syndrome? And if you have had success with ivf?
Any feedback will be much appreciated.
