Negative OPK and Ovulation

#1

I saw a post on page 8? or so on the November thread and thought I would post a separate one out here. I had no idea how easy it was to miss a +OPK.

This is mine from this month. I usually take them at 4pm but I had a particularly nagging pain in the morning so I took an extra. Lo and behold, I would have missed the surge otherwise.

Hope this info helps-both the poster on the Nov. thread and beyond. :flower:

Yes, this is exactly what happened to me. I had that nagging pain the night before so I took one and got a negative, but the pain persisted and in the morning it was positive. Then later on that morning it was negative again.

Usually I get a + for a couple days and it is difficult to miss so this was a little unusual for me. The only thing I have done different this month though is raise my Metformin dose so I think maybe that has something to do with it.
