RBA vs DEB USA?

#1

Hi Ladies! I’m so relieved to find a community of folks who are supportive and have experience in the issues important to me today… After lots of fertility treatments and research we have decided to go the frozen donor egg with assured refund program route. I am in NC and see my two main options being RBA in Atlanta/My Egg Bank or Donor Egg Bank USA and would likely use Coastal Fertility Specialists in Columbia SC. Both programs are about $30k for 6 cycles. I see lots of positives for RBA but have yet to find anyone on here who has used DEB USA… Any experience or thoughts? Thank you!!!

My Egg Bank

I worked with my own clinic who have recently become partners with RBA-my Egg Bank. I got 6+2 frozen eggs from My Egg Bank. My clinic thawed and fertilized them, all thawed and fertilized, we transfered 2 and frozen 3 embryos on Day 6. I am now 8w5d pregnant with a singleton.

Congrats! It sounds like you had a positive experience. Was your clinic contracted with MEB? I wonder if I could use my local clinic…? DEB is only available through ones they partner with.

#4

Hi, yes, my clinic is contracted with MEB, they are ‘partners’. The partnership is new, we were the first couple doing IVF under it. As a result we got 2 extra eggs for the original price, but the guarantees - for 2 good quality embryos - were not available to us.

Good luck to you whatever you decide doing.

Thank you  I’m not hearing of anyone that has used DEB USA…

I have seen at least one comment from a lady who either sued DEB or was planning on using. Don’t remember where I saw it - what forum - or even when the comment was from.

I looked at DEB, too. But then I read a few bad reviews about them elsewhere - sorry, I know it is not fair not to be able to link those any more - and I went on focusing on MEB.

Wow! You know I can’t find one single review of DEB online… Thank you for the info

Another RBA client here. I’m currently 7 months pregnant from a frozen egg cycle with them. They were the innovators when it comes to frozen donor eggs. I don’t believe anyone has as high a success rate as they do. You can go to the following site where there are three huge threads RE RBA:

Donor Issues (Egg & Sperm) Forum - Donor Issues (Egg & Sperm) Discussions - FertileThoughts.com

success with donor egg bank usa!

I have used donor egg bank usa and got pregnant on my first go round  I am currently 14 weeks pregnant with a singleton and heard the beautiful heartbeat today! Heidi (the ceo) and all the staff there are SUPER supportive and helpful. I have lost a child and since then suffered from infertility due to chromosomal issues in my eggs (had a lose at 12 weeks due to an abnormailty) and was so happy about the easeful process of DEB USA. I would recommend them to anyone and am happy to answer anymore questions anyone has!
Thanks

Debusa
Thank you  I’m not hearing of anyone that has used DEB USA…
I’ve used DEBUSA and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m currently due at the end of July.

As emotionally sensitive as it is to decide to utilize and choose a donor, it was calming to have a human connection with the people at the donor bank. Heidi and Teran were wonderful, completely supportive and honest. I had questions answered and calls returned immediately…they were on my side and soothed any anxiety I had. My unique circumstances and requests were met with options and solutions.

I truly trust DEBUSA and will be using them for my next try for a second child in the near future:)

DEB USA,
I used DEB USA for the 1st time and I am pregnant for 8 weeks. I got 6 embryo from 23 yrs old donor. Transfer 2 hatching blast and I still have 1 snow baby. I totally recommend DEB USA. They have very friendly staff and very caring. Specially time like this we need some one really care for us. They emailed all the information right away and followed all our call. I have to pay a fee for the agent but it was totally worth it.
Best of luck for everyone TTC.

Hello
I am currently trying to decide between DEBusa and RBA-my eggbank. I started with a clinic that on 2 occasions took a week to call me back. My question was not a cycle question but important. Anyway, that got me to thinking about whether this Dr office will be able to get back to me timely…whether I matter or they are just too busy.
I had heard of RBA and then began to consider them. I just hate to have to fly down, done that. Any one else have any RBA vs DEB usa stories to share?? Please share!!
Feel free to email me, especially if you are at the same point I am-just starting with DE.
