Reccomended for use with male factor infertility

Me and hubby just had our consultation last week, and after reviewing my hsg and hubbies SA we were told that we could try IUI as a first step, and that my reproductive organs look good, but hubby has a low count, and motility issues. They said I would probably be on climid, and injectibles, so I am just wondering why injectibles would be needed if I am already ovulating every month.

It is to time your ovulation so they know exactly when it is going to happen for when they use the “turkey baster” to insert your DHs sperm. That’s the only way they can guarantee knowing when the ovulation window is, and plan for it in advance to do the IUI procedure.
